Chocolate Time

With Easter coming up, what better ingredient is there than cacao. It tastes yummy whilst being a guilt-free treat for Easter, packed full of benefits. So you can stuff your face with raw cacao and beetroot brownies. Yup, that's right.
Let's get down to the nitty gritty and have a look at the benefits -
  • Powdered cacao is full of flavanoids, which act as natural antioxidants
  • Raw cacao helps to regulate blood pressure and reduce chloesterol while building up the immune system
  • It is a great source of sulfur which is associated with strong nails, shiny hair and a healthy liver and pancreas.
Now without sounding like your mother, it's still key to indulge in moderation. Cacao is a guilt-free alternative to chocolate but you are advised not to consume more than four to six heaped teaspoons a day.
But don't forget the brownies. Happy Easter x
