Spring has sprung! Hurrah! Welcome old friend, sunshine, and come forth Mr Daffodil. With the first day of spring falling this Sunday, we are celebrating all things spring; we now have outdoor seating at our Mortimer St deli, the new spring delivery menu is launching and there is so much delicious fruit and veg in season.

We’re having a bit of a love affair with rhubarb at the moment, which is best enjoyed from now through June. Stewed, poached, or roasted, it makes a great compote to pair with coconut yoghurt and is perfect in a pie or crumble. Check out our Rhubarb & Blackberry Pie recipe on the blog, it is the queen of Al Fresco desserts.

Kale is also glorious and abundant this time of year. We’ve got the ultimate Raw Kale Salad recipeon our blog. The trick is to coat the kale leaves well, and massage as you go to ensure the kale is lovely and tender.
