What we are looking for:

We are looking for an ambitious person who loves to work in a fast paced environment where new opportunities and challenges constantly arise. You will need to be a confident self starter, always willing to suggest and implement improvements.
You must be experienced in administrating and managing software systems and have incredible attention to detail. Experience in bookkeeping would be a plus. You must also have an excellent head for numbers, and the ability to spot trends and anomalies quickly and address them.
This role is crucial - the efficient management of our software ensures the business runs smoothly.

Job Spec

Saffron- stock management systemOverall management of the software

Daily and weekly checks to ensure all aspects of Saffron are accurate
Proactively manage the processes in place for entering data into Saffron
Analysing costs on Saffron and reporting back to the correct people
Request support from Saffron where needed to learn ways to make it more efficient and accurate
React to any issues in a timely manner to ensure they are solved in the same week.
Pre-empt any queries regarding the data from management so you are ahead of the game in solving issues and reporting data analysis
Ensure the data is fit for purpose for use by the finance team
Make improvements to all processes to ensure we are making the absolute most of the software

Point OneOverall management of the software

Ensure that updates are made when needed
Ensure the team are fully trained on how to use the system and how to quickly solve common problems.
Ensure all new prices are updated accurately and communicated to the whole team.

Third Party SystemsDeliveroo, City Pantry, Uber Eats etc –

Ensure that the systems are always up to date with the current menus and pricing
Ensure that the deli and kitchen teams are trained on how to use them
Regularly analyse the sales data to ensure that the systems are being used optimally and report to marketing teams where improvements can be made.
Regularly analyse offer and bundles and report findings to marketing.

Adhoc food administrationEnsure all food labels are typed up and correct
Assist with any ad hoc projects within the food development team, central kitchen and delis

Skills and requirements:

The role will be reporting directly to our CEO and CFO and we are looking for someone with the following:
● At least 3 years experience in the hospitality/food/retail industry
● Excellent working knowledge of Saffron or similar stock/cost management software is essential
● Excellent time management, project management and organisational skills to enable you to juggle different projects at one time
● Proven data analytic experience and skills
● Approachable manner with strong communication skills, ability to work with all levels of staff within the company
● Good sense and sound judgment
● Driven and energetic
● Strong knowledge of excel, Google Sheets and ability to quickly understand new software systems


Cafe Team Member

We are looking for baristas, waitresses, waiters and supervisors to join our cafe teams, based in Soho or Fitzrovia. Please drop in to Detox Kitchen at 10 Mortimer Street, London, W1T 3JJ on Wednesday 18th September 2019 between 9am and 10am or 4pm and 5pm for our open day.
