Homemade Chai
This home-made chai recipe is ready in minutes and is sure to warm your cockles during this snowy weather. This dairy free version is made using oat milk and coconut milk powder which makes for a deliciously creamy and indulgent version.

Makes 4 mugs
100g coconut milk powder
1 tsp turmeric
600ml oat milk
2 cinnamon stick
4 cloves
4 cardamom pods
½ tsp fresh ginger, finely grated
Pinch white pepper
Method
This home-made chai recipe is ready in minutes and is sure to warm your cockles during this snowy weather. This dairy free version is made using oat milk and coconut milk powder which makes for a deliciously creamy and indulgent version.
In a medium sized pan add 600ml oat milk and stir in the coconut powder and turmeric. Once completely combined add in all of the other spices and bring to a simmer. Simmer for 5 minutes and then strain into 4 mugs. Serve immediately. You can add honey or maple syrup to sweeten.
To make:
