Spring brings many a good thing but for me it is all about the food. So we thought we'd let you know what we'll be selecting to eat this Spring.


Spring brings many a good thing but for me it is all about the food. All my favorite veggies come into season, from cauliflower to kale, asparagus to rhubarb, there is something quite special about Spring produce. Here's what we'll be eating this Spring:

Dark leafy greens come into their own during spring, and calorie for calorie they are more nutritious than any other food. They also contain calcium, so if you are going dairy free they will help boost supplies. Try this delicious salmon burger and kale recipe.

Colorful veg such as beetroot, carrots and chard are at their best towards the end of Spring; their intense colour is a good indicator that the food contains lots of phytonutrients, which help to protect us against viruses and bacteria.
