Adios avocados, bye bye mangos, see you later pineapples

As part of our ongoing attempts to become a more sustainable business, we have an exciting update relating to produce on our new home delivery menu.

As part of our ongoing attempts to become a more sustainable business, we have an exciting update. On our brand new autumn home delivery menus, we are waving goodbye to the following ingredients with sky-high food miles: avocados, mangoes and pineapples. Instead, we are celebrating ingredients that come from closer to home, such as apples, carrots, butternut squash and blackberries.

To give you an idea of how we have adapted our dishes to champion local produce, here are a few examples. We have said adios to avocado on rye bread and instead introduced rye bread with deliciously creamy broccoli butter and crunchy dukkah. Mango chutney has been moved over in favour of earthy, vibrant beetroot chutney. Pineapple is out of our breakfast pots, British blackberries are in.

In terms of sourcing, we work with 2 Serve, a family run business supplying the very best selection of fresh fruits and vegetables. Their experienced buyers select the pick of the crop from the UK and Europe to provide us with the highest quality produce.

We are truly committed to making the most sustainable choices as a business and are very proud of this update. To book one of our packages click here.
