Chocacado Smoothie

Ingredients

  • Serves 2
  • 2 bananas
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 2 heaped tbsp cacao powder
  • 6 dates, remove the stone and discard
  • 500ml almond milk
  • 6 ice cubes, 2 extra to add at the end

Equipment required:

  • Blender

Who doesn't love a chocolate milkshake? We have created a super nutritious version that tastes delicious. With avocado and banana this smooth delight provides excellent amounts of healthy fats and fibre, and only contains natural sugars from dates.


Method

1. Peel your bananas and place them in the freezer for at least 2 hours until frozen.

2. Place the frozen bananas in blender and add the rest of the ingredients. Blitz until smooth.

3. Pour the smoothie into two glass as add an extra cube of ice and a paper straw. Enjoy!
