Date and Hazelnut Balls
Our date and hazelnut balls taste as sweet as they look. But don't be fooled by their size because these little balls pack a serious burst of energy.

Ingredients
250g dates, pitted
160g hazelnuts
100g ground almonds
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1tbsp cacao powder
Method
Makes 8 balls (4 portions)
Place the dates and half the hazelnuts in a bowl and cover with boiling water for 20 minutes.
Drain and place in a blender with the almonds, cinnamon and the cacao powder. Blitz to a thick paste.
Mould the mixture into 8 balls.
Finely chop the rest of the hazelnuts in the food processor.
Roll the balls in the hazelnuts and serve.
