Stuffed medjool dates

Looking for a festive treat that *isn’t* another handful (or two) of Quality Street? Look no further than mighty medjool dates, packed with fibre to avoid an unwanted sugar crash. If you want to make them extra fudgy, try keeping them in the fridge.





Makes 6

6 medjool dates
3 tsp crunchy almond butter
2 tsp cacao nibs
20g roasted pistachios, roughly chopped
Zest of 1 orange
Flaky sea salt


  1. Make a cut down the centre of each date to remove the stone.
  2. For the almond butter and cacao nib dates, fill each date with a teaspoon of almond butter then top with a sprinkling of cacao nibs and flaky sea salt.
  3. For the pistachio and orange dates, mix the chopped pistachios with the orange zest and fill each date with a teaspoon of this mixture. Top with flaky sea salt.
