Been on holiday? Eaten too many croissants and drunk too many margaritas? Haven’t we all! I for one get brain fog when I get back to my desk after an indulgent holiday and the only way to get back on track and feel energised again is to eat myself there.

Just three days of wholesome, nourishing food can transform your energy levels, reduce bloating, improve your digestive harmony and put that much needed spring back in your step.

I’ve kept this plan as easy as possible. The recipes are short and only contain a few key ingredients so you can spend less time faffing in the kitchen and more time in the bath, soaking in Epsom salts and drinking herbal tea by candle light.

The plan is wheat, dairy and refined sugar free. It’s important that you drink the lemon water, herbals teas and juice and you try to reduce caffeine if possible (although a single shot a day is fine). I have included a different meal for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day but you can easily just chose one day and make a batch for three days, just to make it even easier!

THE PLAN


What to drink every day:

Drink 5 glasses of Lemon water (Juice of 1/2 lemon to 300ml of water) throughout the day
Drink 4 mugs of herbal tea throughout the day
Drink one cup of green juice

What to snack on every day:

40g almonds or walnuts
1 piece of fresh fruit (apple, pear, a handful of blueberries or raspberries ect)

Day 1

Breakfast: Avocado and poached eggs on toast
Lunch: White bean and sun-dried tomato salad with cashew nut butter
Dinner: Sweet potato and coconut Dal

Day 2

Breakfast: Granola breakfast pots
Lunch: Radish and Quinoa salad
Dinner: Sweet corn fritters with chopped salad

Day 3

Breakfast: Kiwi and lime bircher muesli
Lunch: Lentil, courgette and home made pesto
Dinner: Quinoa, cep and courgette Broth
