Unusually for me nowadays, I had a boozy weekend which left me feeling dustier than normal and exceptionally tired all day. Not having my regular morning coffee added to the struggle! I'm hoping I'll feel much better and more energised after a few days on this package. My skin feels lacklustre and in need of some love. I've never tried any Pai products before so I'm looking forward to seeing the results. Overall, I've felt quite hungry today but lunch was delicious and I really enjoyed the dressing with the mushroom donburi - YUM!

I had a great workout this morning but still felt quite tired today and had to push through a mid-afternoon slump. I had a bit of a headache this afternoon which is probably from the lack of caffeine. Lunch was a super greens salad with a white bean mash which was truly scrumptious. The flavour of the white bean mash is so good! I also loved the stuffed sweet potato with salmon and bbq celeriac for dinner. Definitely provided inspiration for future dinners. The Pai cleanser smelled amazing when I put it on my face and my skin feels really soft after using the cloth with warm water.

My skin felt really smooth when I woke up and is already looking a little clearer. I devoured the breakfast granola - loved the crunch of the nuts, mixed with the berry coulis. I'm getting used to the smaller portions and don't feel as hungry during the day. I did a yoga class too which was really energising and made me feel great afterwards, although I'm still feeling pretty tired towards the end of the day - guessing it's the lack of caffeine still! I'm enjoying using a cloth with my cleanser. I've always used a cleanser I wash off with water so it's new for me to do it with a cloth. It works really well removing my eye make-up and feels quite luxurious wiping the cleanser off.

I'm really loving the Super Spirulina juices (particularly the hint of fruit) and it went down really well after another gym session. This week, I've discovered just how filling cauliflower rice is! The cauliflower and dijon salad for lunch filled me right up (and once again, the dressing was amazing). Another inspiration for future meals. My energy levels are definitely improving and my skin is getting more of a glow back. I've also realised just how time consuming it is making dinner when I come home from work normally. I love cooking but not having to think about preparing a meal and washing up afterwards has meant that I've been able to enjoy my evenings more and do the things I love, like reading.

I'm definitely seeing the results. I've started to sleep much better. When I woke up this morning, I felt well-rested and ready for the day. I'm not nearly as tired as I was earlier in the week. My skin is getting more hydration back too which is great. I'm also loving the tamari seeds as a snack. There aren't many of them but they're super flavoursome and help when I get hungry in the afternoon.

I had my facial at CONTENT at the end of the day. It felt like such an indulgence - what a treat! Afterwards, my skin felt wonderfully soft and rejuvenated. Any chance to lie down and be pampered feels great. The facial included a head and shoulder massage too. Afterwards, I really felt like a lot of toxins were leaving my body and the blood was circulating more.

I'm really enjoying the healthy food I've been eating and I'm not craving sugar or caffeine. I'm feeling less bloated and my jeans are fitting much better than at the start of the week. My skin is also improving. It feels clearer and I have fewer blemishes. I was worried the banana and avocado smoothie might not fill me up enough but it definitely did. Ending the weekend with a sweetcorn and chicken chowder and a pistachio truffle whilst watching a movie was a lovely way to wrap up the week.

The super green salad with garden pea falafel was delicious and dinner was a Massaman curry which was really tasty. It was with broccoli rice which was a clever substitution to processed white rice! My skin feels amazing at the moment - really clear and smooth. I literally love putting the hot cloth on my face at night. I've been so impressed by Pai, I spent a bit of time looking at what other products they have and am really into the fact that they're chemical-free.

I'm used to eating big breakfasts so having smaller portion sizes with Detox Kitchen was a struggle for me at the beginning but now I'm used to the smaller sizes and feeling full afterwards. I devoured the Rainbow poke bowl for lunch. The use of cooked onions in it is clever - adds so much flavour! Overall, I've loved taking care of my body over the past week with good food, some pampering and chemical-free skin products. I definitely want to keep going with it.

It's my last day on the Detox Kitchen skin package and I'm sad it's come to an end. Starting the day with such healthy food has left me feeling really positive about myself. It's so nice to know I don't have to think about whether the foods I'm eating are good for me or not. I had the white bean mash with my roasted squash today for lunch - I'm obsessed with the white bean mash! I'm surprised that after 10 days of not drinking alcohol or caffeine, I'm not craving either of them as much as I thought I would. Doing this has also made me think more about portion sizes and what my portion sizes might be going forward. I certainly don't feel hungry like I did at the start.

Overall summary of 10-day experience

Overall, I felt great doing the 10-day Detox Kitchen Skin Food Package. It was tough at the beginning but 10 days later and I feel amazing. I've got lots of energy, I am far more productive at work and I'm not interested in going back to anything wildly unhealthy after this. It's been so lovely to take care of myself not just with the food I put into myself but also the products I put onto my skin too.

On that note… the Pai Cleanser. I was expecting to see results with the daily meals, but I never expected a cleanser to make so much difference to my skin! I'm now a total Pai convert. I genuinely didn't believe it would make a difference to fine lines, but it has.
