Cashew Caesar Dressing
You asked and we listened … Our cashew caesar dressing has been a firm favourite over the years. We have drizzled this over many a salad or used it as a base for a creamy sauce in multiple dishes. Currently, it is also paired with our popular ‘Caesar-ish’ salad at our delis. As the recipe has been requested countless times, we have decided it's now time to share our secret.
RecipesMakes a 500g pot (around 3-4 portions).
Ingredients
200g water
100g raw cashews, soaked for 3-5 hours in warm water
50ml rapeseed oil
80ml tamari
50g sunflower seeds
1 tbsp dijon mustard
30g capers
2 tsp garlic powder
Whizz up in a blender until smooth. Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
